Interesting Palawan Resorts

It's wise to say that to have a memorable and exciting travel experience, research and preparation is still necessary. This is applicable to instances when it's your first time to visit a place, like many Palawan resorts. I agree that Palawan is well-known around the world because of its scenic beauty. It has been considered as top tourist destination for so many years.

In that sense, there are many Palawan resorts that are interesting. I've heard about El Nido Palawan and I really want to be there for a vacation. I'm hoping to drop by Cuyo Palawan for sightseeing purposes. That's why I'm trying to familiarize the area by means of reading blogs and websites about the famous tourist spot. How about you? What's your latest travel adventure?

New American Idol Scotty McCreery

I love Scotty McCreery! I haven't asked Jane if American Idol is her fave TV program, so for now, I'd like to share my thoughts about the latest season.

The music of Scotty McCreery is boring. Yes. He is showcasing an old school entertainment package. Yes. But if his win as the new American Idol is considered pre-ordained by many music bloggers, then so be it. I'll support such claim. After all, his confidence during the competition is undeniable.  Personally, it is as if I'm listening Dan Hill, Stevie Wonder (or any popular country singer), sing every time I hear Scotty McCreery 's voice.

Thunderbird Resorts In Rizal

We didn't visit Thunderbird Resorts in Rizal to enjoy swimming in their pool area. We attended the Bloggers Fest 2011 event with other 200 plus bloggers from Manila and nearby provinces. My first glimpse of the resort is unforgettable. Amidst the rolling hills and scenic area, Thunderbird Resorts in Rizal is nestled with a promise of serenity and comfort to its visitors. Not only that, their spacious surrounding allows you to roam around freely and use the stunning site as backdrop of your photos.

But there's one thing that I like in our visit at Thunderbird Resorts in Rizal. Of course, I like their food, specifically their fish or seafood menu. You won't get bored in being there because of their huge event center wherein regular shows are presented. I noticed that the staff are nice too. So, for your next summer vacation, you already have an idea on where to spend it.

I like the food there. :)

Republic of Cavite Restaurant Today

When I was invited to attend a food bloggers activity in Trece Martires City Cavite area, I directly accepted the invitation. Actually, the event was spearheaded by respected businessmen and government leaders of the province. Several food bloggers, including me, was invited to participate with the event tagged as Enriching Cavite's Tourism through the introduction of Cavite's unique and innovative culinary or food industry.

The event was held in an elegant venue, the Republic of Cavite Restaurant which is located at the heart of Trece Martires City Cavite. After the program, restaurant tour was done for the guests and then the super-delicious lunch. There's one thing that I've learned during the said activity: one of the secrets to improve tourism industry is to strengthen the development of culinary skills so that tourists will enjoy their stay while on vacation because of nice accommodation and great food.

I've tasted all of their food, but this plate made my day. :)

Home Gardening

Home gardening is one of my hobbies and I always feel fulfilled when I'm doing it. Planting vegetables in a limited space in our place is challenging, but I was able to do the task. We've been taught by our church leaders to be self-reliant so I'm really interested in gardening. Also, I don't have to buy my favorite veggies in the market. That means savings, right?

Every morning, I wake up early and check my plants. It's so sad when I found out that some of our neighbors destroy our little mango tree. But it doesn't stop me from doing home gardening tasks. By the way, if you want to know more about home gardening, just try searching online some information on the topic. I read blogs relating to gardening just to find information and photos about planting vegetables at home. My favorite site is Farm Girl Fare.

I Won These Through Nuffnang

Do you like joining blog contests? I really do. Don't say I'm like a child. Simple blog contests hosted by Nuffnang and other bloggers make me thrilled and happy. Last February, I was chosen as one of the winners by Stylebible Valentine contest. I never thought that my Valentine photo got their attention. I found the other contestants so pretty. Maybe, I've won the contest because I did the right thing. My outfit spells Valentine's Day feel, that's why. Other contestants failed to do that! I'm glad I still have my brains. Hahaha!

Going back to Nuffnang, just see the banner floating before this post if you want to know about it.It's Asia Pacific's first blog advertising company. They usually host contests for bloggers. I'm one of their active participants. So far, I've won twice with not really huge prizes, but very interesting. I'll continue doing so. Besides, they provide an opprtunity to earn money. To know more about it, just leave your comments in this post.

UPDATE: Sorry friends, I failed to tell you what I've won here. :) Nuffnang gave me and other winners bottles of lotion and perfume from DKNY. I gave the lotion to my sister-in-law that's why I don't have a photo of the product here. :) Thanks!

What We Had For Lunch

We've been working hard to make this life fulfilling and enjoyable. That's because we know that we deserve it. Over the news lately, people were striving to fight against sickness, calamity, problems and even death. Since we have the opportunity to remain calm and hopeful for our loved ones, we tend to live normally.

That's why we try to cook the best for our family. We use the best and freshest ingredients we could have for a delicious treat for them. I'm so amazed with this cooked shrimp that's been made by using one of the most interesting shrimp recipes I've ever read online. Take a peek of the results by looking at this photo. So, yummy!
